So one of the things I've been working on lately, besides creating new things for the Cutter's Creek Design Team (see the link on my page to check it out) is creating some tags for my husband's cousin's wife's business, Kim N' Cath Bags. Look 'em up on Facebook, the bags they create are just gorgeous! I am a proud owner of al wallet created by Kim! Anyway, these tags were created with scraps from previous projects to keep with the company's theme of recycling. Kim and Cathy both use fabrics that began their life as something else. And just like every bag or wallet they create, each tag is "you-nique"! I've really enjoyed making these tags and I hope you enjoy looking at them!

Another Wedding Album
My cousin Timothy recently got married so I made a simple wedding album for them. For the interior pages I used a Making Memories 8 x 8 Wedding paper pad. I used my Tags, Bags, Boxes and More Cricut Cartridge to cut the beveled tag with the blackout feature to cut all of my pages. There are 12 different papers so I turned a striped one the other direction to make a total of 13 pages (they were married on Friday the 13th). Then I cut the cover and back the the same size out of chipboard. I covered them first with black cardstock then with a beautiful white mulberry paper. I lined the inside with patterned paper. I used the Wild Card Cartridge to cut out the "Our Wedding" sentiment from mirrored paper. Then I used Paper Doll Dress Up to make the bride and groom. I enjoyed creating this album and I hope my cousins enjoy it too!

New Layouts
It has been a little while since I've updated my blog but now that we are getting used to the new routine (school, dance classes, physical therapy and library program) I've had a little time to get creative! I've also been spending time making Christmas gifts but those won't be posted until after Christmas, don't want to ruin any surprises! The 1st layout is on of Penny and Evie and the other 4 are from our vacation last summer. We visited the National Railroad Museum in Green Bay, WI (yes there is something besides the Packers there). Penny had a great time exploring all the trains and even getting to ride one!

Ty's Baby Album Cover
The following pictures are all from a baby album I made for my friend Christy's baby boy, Tylen. The base of the album is a Close to My Heart tag album. I replaced the post in the album with a binder ring so I could have a bit more bulk on my pages. All of the papers are from SEI's Chick-A-Doo collection. I LOVE these papers!
The cover and back are both covered in a fabric paper. It is wonderfully soft, like a micro suede. The Eeyore image and letters are both from the "Pooh Font" Cricut cartrigde. The ribbons on the binder ring are all from the SEI Chick-A-Doo collection as well.

Ty's Baby Album Part 1
Page 1: I used the Close to My Heart set sets Adore Caps and Lowercase to stamp the word "Introducing" with CTMH Heavenly Blue ink. I used my Hero Arts "Tiny Alphabet" to stamp out "Tylen Grant" and the adorable baby is cut with the Cricut Cartridge "New Arrival"
Page 2: The white metal tag is from Making Memories and says "Baby Boy" the ribbon is also from SEI.
Page 3: I used Pop Dots to raise up this adorable onesie on a hanger that I cut using "New Arrival"
Page 4: This is my favorite page! I cut the tub and the words "Bath Time" using the "New Arrival" cartridge. Then I used a product called Skittles (they are little glass flat backed marbles) to make bubbles around the tub.
Page 5: The stamp is used is from a CTMH set called "Today's Date" in Garden Green ink and I circled Ty's birthday with a great pen from Sakura called a Gelly Roll pen.
Ty's Baby Album Part 2
Page 6: I used a stamp that said "Little Miracle" with the Heavenly Blue ink then I traced it with a Stardust pen (super fine silver glitter) for a little extra sparkle. The eyelets are also clear rhinestones with silver around them.
Page 7: I used the "New Arrival" cartridge to cut out the words "Sweet Pea" as well as the baby in the pea pod.
Page 8: The baby blocks letters are also from the New Arrival cartridge. I had to alter them a little so the dark blue would outline the blocks. The ribbon is a sheer white with polka-dots that I just love.
Page 9: The airplane, cloud and banner are both cut with New Arrival and I also elevated them with the pop dots. The quote says "Where there is great love, there are always miracles" and is from a CTMH set called "Love Quotes"
Page 10: Last but not least is a darling moon cut from New Arrival
I hope Christy enjoys her album!

Birthday Card
I just love this card. I got the idea from a card in this month's Card Maker's Magazine. For this card I cut an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of lavender card stock in half and then folded in half for the card base. Next I cut a piece of white cardstock to 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" and then used a Martha Stewart Punch on the bottom edge. Then I used my Cricut Machine with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to make the "ric rac" piece. After adhering it to the white piece I outlined it with a silver gel pen. Then I stamped my "Happy Birthday" sentiment with a Close to My Heart stamp set with silver Martha Stewart ink. Next I covered a strip of white card stock with that shiny silver duct work tape and cut and embossed it with my Cuttlebug machine. I mounted this on a 2" x 2" piece of lavender cardstock that I had used silver Martha Stewart to ink the edges. Hope you like it!

More Inspiration Part 2
Ok, I made one page but haven't taken any pics yet, I will post it later... but for now I guess I need more inspiration :)
