Scrappy Birthday Blog Hop!

It's April's scrappy birthday! Join us in hopping through some of my favorite blogs to celebrate April’s favorite color - GREEN!We’ve had so much fun planning this hop, and we have a wonderful line up with some oh-so-talented creators. You will see some lovely projects and have a chance to win some blog candy along the way, including a fun grand prize for this hop. I decided to make a really fun Frog Card! Click the picture to make it bigger.


I found this frog on the Mini Monsters Cricut Cartridge. I cut him at 2 1/2" from some green cardstock and some of the brand new Echo Park Summer Days patterned paper (from the 6 x 6 pad). I hand cut the crown from a scrap of gold glitter paper. I then hand cut the shadow from white cardstock. I covered the front of the card with another sheet of Summer Days paper and then mounted my frog with foam squares.


I used the Pooh Font Cricut Cartridge to cut the words "HOPPY Birthday!" at 1" and the paper strip is a scrap that I had left over from the front. I am so happy with how this card turned out!!! I wonder if my Mom would mind if I made her a "Hoppy Mother's Day" card... LOL!
