Two Chicks February Kit

So today is another two-fer! I have one spot to fill and I'm hoping that it's cuteness will inspire just one more awesome scrapper to join in :) Have to get ready for Penny's Birthday parties tomorrow and Sunday! I can't believe my baby is going to be 4!!!

Two posts in one day??? Have I gone mad? Nope, just happily creating away with my Two Chicks kit! So this is the third 2 page layout I've made with this kit. I may try for one more....

February Two Chicks Kit

Well, I've certainly been busy scrapping this week! I received my February Kit from Two Chicks Designs. These are the first of many projects I will be making as a part of this fantastics stores Design Team! You can buy the February Kit as a one time kit purchase or you can sign up for 6 months of the Kit of the Month Club and get a great new kit shipped to you every month! Included in each kit is the custom "Chick N Feed" which are all those cute embelishments that make your pages special! Flowers, ribbon, buttons, brads.... they've thought of everything!

Love Struck Layout

Me and one of my best friends got the crazy idea to take our babies, dress them both up like Cupid and take pictures of them together! The pictures turned out ADORABLE as expected so I had to scrap them right away. I mean I'm only about 1 1/2 years behind in printing my pictures... LOL! I'm in love with how this layout turned out!

Gingerbread Altered Can

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share an "altered item" that I made for a Design Team audition. This was a can of chocolate covered potato chips that I bought at Target last year. The chips are long gone but I huung on to the can because someday I was going to get around to actually doing something with it! Well, that day has come and I was thrilled with the results!
I used some Twinkle Jewels from Cutter's Creek to accent the peppermints on the lid and the band around the tin. I also was able to use a TON of ribbons from my stash to decorate the handle. My favorite is the brown rick-rack though. I just love rick-rack!
