Let It Snow Page Kit ~ Details Part 1

Let It Snow Page Kit

I made this page kit of a swap I'm in and it turned out so darn cute I had to share it! I almost hate to give it up. Really wasn't too hard to assemble so I may be putting one together for myself tonight! The kit includes: "Let it Snow" Title, Journaling Block, Matchbook, Paper Pieced Snowman, and 2 Photo Mats, each can hold a 4 x 6 photo. The papers were from Oriental Trading Co, Winter Mat Stack II, Button Brads on Snowman from Making Memories, Snowflake Brads from Michaels (MM?), Photo Turns, Snowflake stamp, and Pansy Purple Ink from Close To My Heart, Fiber from Ebay, and Ghost Snowflake is Heidi Swapp. Will post some close ups later! Gotta get back to work, LOL!

Brrr Library Pocket and Card

So here is a new Library Pocket with Card... I had some adorable scraps from the 8 x 8 layout I made so I decided to make this adorable pocket. It is my latest PIF offering in the Down Paper Lane Yahoo Group PIF board. The pic isn't the best but that's what happens when I have to use the laundry room instead of sunlight to photograph... I love the way this turned out! Enjoy.

Dog Library Pocket and Tag

I created these for a PIF swap on my Down Paper Lane Yahoo Group. I think they turned out really cute! I'm going to make a set for myself and hopefully I will post a page using them soon :)

8 x 8 Layout Challenge

So I decided to join in on the Cutter's Creek Yahoo Groups latest contest. It is a 8 x 8 page layout contest. The prize is all of the contributed pages in a nice album so I'm hoping the luck of the draw is with me on this one! It truely was a challenge for me to make this page because I normally scrap in 12 x 12 double page layouts so I needed to think of a way to be able to fit multiple photos in a small area (I never have just one perfect pic, I have 20!). I used double sided cardstock to make this a bit easier on myself. There is a hidden photo mat behind the main photo mat that you can put a photo on each side. You can also pull out the card in the library pocket and mount small photos or write journalling on and both sides are pretty too. I was very happy with how this turned out... now to work on stuff for my OWN books!
