Valentines Mini Badge Album

This is the Valentine Mini Bagde Album I made for the Badge Album swap. I used a paper pack that I got from Target's Dollar Spot a year or so ago and lots of Close To My Heart stamps for embelishments. I had a great time with this album too. My DD wants me to make her one too! Back to WalMart for more of those badge holders....

Winter Mini Badge Album

I made some mini badge albums for a swap and I thought I'd share them! This one is the Winter themed album I made. The papers are from Oriental Trading Company from the Winter Paper Stack II. The pages are housed in badge holders that I bought at WalMart! They are for holding your name badge for work or whatever. I am soooo happy with how this came out, I almost hate to swap them out, LOL!

Fancy Nancy Invitation

Here's the photo of the invitations for my beautiful daughter's 3rd birthday party! I tried to keep them fairly simple because of the quantity involved but I am really pleased with the way they turned out! The best part was using an entire jar of Prima's that for some reason never seemed to match anything I have in my stash!

"Baby" Library Pocket with Card

This is my favorite Library Pocket with Card that I've created. I wanted to make a neutral baby theme for a PIF. I used the DCWV Nursery Stack of Boy colors for the stripe and dot papers. The yellow for the pocket is Bazzil Bling, not sure the color name though. The tealy blue is CTMH cardstock in Breeze (I think). I used the Cricut New Arrival cartridge for make the baby carriage. This is one of my favorite images from this cartridge! I am just so thrilled with how this turned out... I almost wanted to keep it for myself! But, I have the DCWV Nursery Stack in GIRL colors too and since this new baby is supposed to be a girl... I'm thinking I need to do a girly one for myself!
Oh, pregnancy update: My BP is up and I'm thinking that I will be delivering sometime shortly after Easter. The doctor said "Let's TRY to get you to 36 weeks.." I'm thinking there's no trying, baby needs to be big enough to come home right away... guessing I won't be working after Easter tho, will probably need to stay sedintary to keep the BP down.

"Family" Library Pocket with Card

I made this for a swap and I'm so thrilled with how it turned out! I was a little out of my comfort zone trying to design with a Heritage feel. I used Close to My Heart Cranberry cardstock for the pocket. Then I used my Cricut Storybook cartridge for the flower design cut from CTMH Desert Sand paper. I used Home Decor to cut out the base for "Family" out of white cardstock then stamped the word "Family" in Desert Sand ink and used Bamboo and Desert Sand ink on the edges. I also used Bamboo ink on the edges of the pocket as well. Finally I added a few brads to finish! The card is use white card stock cut from Fabulous Finds (the Library Pocket "Insert") and the edges were inked with Bamboo and Desert Sand ink!

"Sisters" Library Pocket with Card

Well, it's been a busy couple of weeks so I haven't been doing much scrappin'! Had Penny's 3rd Birthday party 2 weekends ago. It was a ton of fun! As soon as I can dig out one of the invitations (I had to put away ALL my scrap stuff) I will get some pics posted. In the meantime, I had to finish up some swap and PIF items so I have a few new pics to share. The one above turned out great, I think :) I wanted a tone on tone look so I used my new Cuttlebug to emboss hearts on to the front of the Library Pocket. Then I used Close to My Heart Baby Pink ink with a sponge dauber to swirl ink onto the hearts so make them pop a bit more. Then I stamped the word "Sisters" in the same Baby Pink ink on a small piece of cardstock with my CTMH Curly-Q alphabet and inked the edges with a dauber. I used pop-dots to adhere to the front for more dimension. Finally, I stamped the card with the CTMH Library Card stamp in Baby pink as well. Well, off to another doctor's appt... gotta check on the new baby (I'm 31 weeks now)! I do have some other images to post later so keep your eyes peeled....
