Masculine Birthday Cards

Hello and welcome to another fun day here on my blog! Today I've got 2 different versions of a masculine birthday card for you to check out! First up, I used Graphic 45's A Perfect Gentleman to create this card. The stamped image is from Tim Holtz and I embossed it with clear embossing powder to really make it pop. I distressed everything with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

Here's version 2 of the same card with a totally different color scheme. This one is from a 6 x 6 MME paper pad and I just LOVE the yellow and blue combo on this one! I inked all of the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink and the "Happy Birthday" is from Hero Arts.

I hope you enjoyed both of my cards today and I hope I inspire you to try to make a masculine card today!

For my project today I decided that nothing says "Spring" quite like a newborn baby! I finally got some of my almost 2 year old daughter's baby pictures developed and I had this GORGEOUS Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime paper in my stash so I created this layout!

I used some Star Dust, Diamond and Icicle Stickles to add a bit of glitter to the wings on my fairy. I also used one of the postcard cut-outs as a base for my title. I used my Cricut to cut the "Little Baby" phrase from my Nursery Rhymes cartridge. Then I cut one of the fairies out of the paper and added her to the center of the heart.

I really tried to keep my embellishments simple so that I didn't overpower my photos. This is one of my new favorite layouts!

I am giving away a blog candy goody bag on blog today too! Simple leave a comment and make sure you are following my blog and you could win some fun blog candy. I'm going to fill a tote bag with some fun surprises, like the new Cricut Magazine, a chipboard album, papers, pens and MORE (U.S. and Canadian residents, I will pay for shipping, all others you can win if you pay the shipping costs)!
